ABOUT YOUR GUIDE

My name is Romain Bréget and I'm a professional tour guide in Normandy. I have had a particular interest in military history since my childhood, spending time around ruined medieval castles and WW2 German bunkers. I studied History, Art History and Archaeology and I have been a certified tour guide in France for over 10 years. I arrived in Normandy in 2014, working first for a travel company, taking thousands of tourists on the landing beaches, and now working as an independent guide.

In the last few years, I was fortunate enough to volunteer for several organizations bringing WW2 veterans in Normandy, as well as taking part in the recovery of a missing US soldier.

I had the honor of taking numerous families and individuals on the footsteps of their relative on the DDay beaches and the Normandy battlefields.
